RIVERFIREEE @ 10:38 AM
went to riverfire with, emely, monica, masato, faiz, paul and etienne last night :) it was a pretty good day, lots of walking tho =="
So at bout 2:30 ish, my dad drove me to pick up emely at KFC. i was eating in market square b4 we went to pick her up. we got to my house and i quickly had a shower, we only had 45 mins to get ready :L emely changed and we did our make up etcc.. then left to plaza at 3:30 :L we were meant to meet at 3:30 but oh wells. when we got there paul, etienne and faiz were already waiting for us, BUT masato wasnt ==" emely called him and he was home i think, or just leaving ==" tsk guys are not meant to be later then the chicks :L we waited for like 15 for him and then left to city. we met monica and jane at cue city and went karaoke, but jane didnt join us, she was meeting with other people.
emely, monica and i sang the most. masato and faiz didnt sing as much as they did like other times. etienne and paul didnt sing that much :L paul sang like 2 korean songs :D the only song he sang properly was 'as long as you love me' :L peter and tai came and joined us, but they didnt sing. well, peter only sang a bit of beautiful soul, he picked that song LOL. faiz had to leave at 5:30 to go break his fast. i made the guys dance to YMCA :L it was pretttty funnny (Y) after karaoking we went to play pool and waited for faiz. we only played for 30 mins, it was etienne, paul and i vs monica, peter and masato. my team won :D we only got to play a game. while paying for the game, we were 5c short ==" NO ONE HAD ANY MORE COINS lol and no one wanted to break their notes:L:L but luckily FAIZ CAME TO THE RESCUE LOL he came just in time and gave us 50c :L:L
we then went to buy krispy kreme; masato wanted to eat donuts while watchin the fireworks. he ended up paying for a 6 pack cuz we ran out of coins to help chip in. i still owe him like $1 :L. we wanted to watch the fireworks from the new spiky looking bridge, but it was CLOSED T__T we walked all the way there for nothin :L so we walked bak and endedd up watchin at the city end, near the brisbane city council library. the view wasnt that bad =] saw like 4 sets of fireworks. we only missed out on the middle one in front of the beach, oh wells. etienne and paul loved the jet :L:L it was soo loud! it was quite lonely watchin fireworks, but it was good with friends. the fireworks lasted about 30 mins :)
we went to eat afterwards, everyone was hungry :L we kept walking around looking for a place to eat, everywhere as full or expensive. we wanted to eat at singapore, but it was full ==" so we ended up at nandos :L it was my first time eating at nandos and it was alright. people say its soo good, but it wasnt that good lol monica and emely didnt eat dinner, they left too meet up with this mikey dood and his friends. they then came up to nando and mikey's friend took some of my chips :L he was a funny guy, i think his name was chung ?? not sure lol. we finished eating at bout 8:30ish and every had to leave at 9. paul had to catch the train home, so he came with me to meet up with my cousins. they all went to river fire and we decided to go home together.
we were meant to meet up at south brisbane station, so paul and i had to walk all the way there from city ==" i then got a txt from my bro saying he was at singapore ==" then i called my couz, as she was at the city end as well. i found out that daniel and my other cousin went as well. emely, faiz, masato and etienne all took the bus home, while paul and i waited 45 mins for my cousins ==" they decided to meet at central and i cbfed walking bak up :L they caught the train to south brisbane and then we jumped on the same train. i felt bad for paul, cuz he waited with me... i thought he was gonna get into trouble for goin home late:L but he didnt lol.
it was pretty awkward on the train at first, my bro and daniel was like *eyebrows* LOL ==" we got off at coopers plain and paul got off at sunnybank. got home at nearly 10:30 i think. when we got home i heard that daniel was actaully at south brisbane waitng, but then walked all the way up to central. thats prob why we had to wait for soo long ==" man bad planning :L:L
all in all, it was a fun day :) great way to begin exam week LOL
